routes & REST STOPS

Courses are not marked, please be sure to download your route or bring a cue sheet for directions.

As of right now, the courses are in excellent shape, and we don't have any particular areas of concern where we might experience flooding. We will be doing a final inspection of the course on Friday and will communicate any possible route changes that evening. Assume that no news is good news. We will also have cars out again on Saturday morning, since there's a chance for overnight rain. Any last minute changes will be communicated to riders as part of the pre-ride instructions.

Routes:

The Gran (60-mile)

The 60-mile course heads south from Somerset Ridge before looping around Louisburg Middle Creek Lake and taking riders west through scenic La Cygne before turning north to head back to the winery. There are three rest stops with water and porta potties along this route:

  • Mile 16.8: W. 383rd and Rockville Rd. 🌴

  • Mile 36.9: W. 403rd and Somerset Rd. (say hello to volunteers from our beneficiary, Cancer Action!) 🎪

  • Mile 45.5: W. 343rd and Somerset Rd. 🌴

🚨 Riders should exercise caution and follow all rules of the road throughout the entire course, but especially when crossing W. 359th and Rockville Rd (appr. mile 14.2). Be advised: East-West traffic on W. 359th does not have a stop sign and moves quickly.
