WHY: Quite frankly, because we hate cancer. Most of us have witnessed first-hand how cancer affects patients and their families. It's our hope to support great local organizations who are doing the important work to fight this disease. And hopefully one day, these organizations won't even be needed. Until then, NO ONE RIDES ALONE.

ROUTES

With three different route options, there's something for everyone. Whether you're gravel curious, an experienced recreational rider, or a serious gravel grinder preparing for an upcoming race, this ride is for you. We've designed three routes, all offering scenic views around rural Paola, KS. Our route specialists have carefully designed the routes to be fun, scenic and safe.

Now, let's choose the route that's right for you:

20 miles

40 miles

60 miles

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

  • All cyclists should ride with the necessary items to make their own repairs (consider a portable pump and/or CO2 inflator, spare tube and/or patch kit, tire lever, etc.). If you're unable to make a repair, a support vehicle will be available to transport you back to the Start/Finish.

  • All cyclists must obey the rules of the road. Although all routes will be thoroughly marked, all roads will remain open to vehicles and pedestrians.

  • All cyclists MUST wear a helmet.

  • Stay hydrated. Bring a water bottle (or two) and refill along the ride. Water and/or Gatorade will be provided at Start/Finish and the rest stops.

  • Choose a route you're sure you can complete. We will have SAG available for legitimate emergencies, but may not be able to accommodate a large number of riders who simply need a bail-out from exhaustion.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Patches will be distributed at check-in on ride day. There will not be a packet pick-up.

  • Detailed route maps and turn-by-turn directions will be published and sent to riders before the ride.
